I’mma do the things/ That I wanna do/
It's A Brand New Life Project.
I ain’t got a thing/ To prove to you/
Different view of my mini album.
I’ll eat my candy/ With the pork and beans/
How do I feel? (I love the bumble bee on this page! So cute!)
Excuse my manners/ If I make a scene/
My current outlook on life.
I ain’t gonna wear/ The clothes that you like/
I feel loved.
I’m fine and dandy/ With the me inside/
I feel so HAPPY.
One look in the mirror/ And I’m tickled pink/
The Joys of Freedom
I don’t give a hoot/ About what you think/
Up close shot of some of my title work.
No I don’t care/ I don’t care.
I totally love that Weezer song. It’s ingenious; it has been added to my play list. Anyway, the above mini album and “The Joys of Freedom” layout were just some projects I made to document the way I feel about my life right now — content and overjoyed.
Also, another something to share… while I was cleaning my room, I found an invite that I made for a friend’s baby shower. It’s shaped like a baby diaper that holds the party information on the inside. Isn’t it adorable?!
I love the yellow colors to this baby shower invite.
Last weekend, I went out to the city with my brother and his friend. She came to visit San Francisco, so we opted to show her around some of what the city has to offer. Here are some random pictures from our little excursion.
One view of the Transamerica Tower.
Walking around during the Cherry Blossom Festival.
"It's so hot today in Japantown! Water, I need water!"
Oh, what a bundle of joy! haha.
Coit Tower sits on a hill in the city.
Scott and Frances enjoying the city's views.
Gloria and Maui explored all around Coit Tower.
Gloria and I hanging out at Coit Tower. And yes, I did cut my hair.
I cut my hair SHORT. It feels weird, but I guess I’m getting used to it. I have been getting compliments on it, so I guess that’s a good thing, right? On top of that, Maui got shaved, so both of us had trims! I’ll have to post pictures of how funny she looks now.
Oh, and the best part — RAK coming this weekend!!!!! I’ve got TONS of giveaways to give out in the next couple of weeks. I’ve been cleaning my scrap room, and I really need to finish organizing everything. Look for one tomorrow.
Okay, that’s it for now. More layouts to come once I get the chance to scan them.
Happy Friday!
Sarah.
PS: Thank you to everyone for their kind words on the last post. Your kindness means the world to me. Hugs!

YAY! WEEZER!
Only in dreams we’ll see what it means reach out our hands hold on to her’s but when we wake it’s all been erased and so it seems only in dreams…
When I’m stable long enough I start to look around for love see a sweet in floral prints my mind begins the arrangements…
And all I can do is say that I haven’t much I can give you in return only heart and I promise not to turn…
There’s the pitch slow and straight all I have to do is swing and I’m the hero but I’m a zero…
In the garage I feel safe no one care about my ways in the garage where I belong no one hears me sing this song…
Holy sweet goddamn you left your cello in the basement I admired the glowing stars and tried to play a tune I can’t believe how bad I suck it’s true what you you possibly see in little ol’ 3-chord me…
When I was down you came to me and promised you’d always be by my side and now you’re gone and I’m waiting patiently…
Back in 1991 I wasn’t having any fun until my roommate said c’mon and put a brand new record on it had a baby on it he was naked on it then I heard the chords that broke the chains I had upon me…
I can’t confront you I never could do that which my hurt you so try and be cool when I say this way is a water slide away from you that takes you further everyday so be cool…
Why are you so far away from me I need help and you’re way across the sea I could never touch you I think it would be wrong I’ve got your letter you’ve got my song…

The baby diaper invite is so stinkin’ cute. I’ll have to tell my daughter about that because she’s expecting. I’m also loving your new haircut! Very cute! Can’t wait to see more pics.

I’m not at all surprised I’m the only person who commented on Weezer…. despite the lyrics being a HUGELY focal point of your point.
Maybe I should pick u country music…
“Nah…” (In the Lisa McDowell voice)

Sarah great post – your layouts are always so fresh and funky, great inspiration for me. Ahhh San Fran, I was there in 2005 and I loved it, wish we had been blog buddies then! The weezer lyrics are rather appropriate (yes I read your second comment deftones hee hee), I do like a bit of the weeze now and then but I don’t think I’ve heard that song before. Now I’m gunna have to look it up. Had to laugh about your RAK, we must be on the same wave length as I’m putting one up tomorrow, yay.
BTW my gawd that baby shower invite is awesomely cute.
