2009 May 13 « Red Oak Lines

Two more days, and I’ll have my hands full. This was really unplanned and decided upon unexpectedly, but we decided on doing it since we had the money saved up! YIKES! I can’t wait to share the news. To answer some questions that were emailed to me: yes, there will be lots of picture taken, so be on the lookout for new photos.

So… to celebrate (and because I still have lots of stuff to giveaway), how about another RAK?! To play, read the rules below:

Lately, I’ve been getting my craft on. I’ve been scrapping and sewing like no other; perhaps it’s because the room is clean, haha! I picked up some fun patterns and fabrics at the store, and I’ve got a handful of projects in mind. I’ve completed one all ready, and I plan on sharing it with everyone once I get the chance to take a picture of it. As for scrapping, I have a couple to share.

The first layout was inspired by the Recipe Challenge #48 over at Sketches! {by tamara}. I always get a kick out of challenging myself, so this is what I created.

My second layout was inspired by the current sketch over at 52 Sketches, 52 Weeks. I loved the unique design on this week’s sketch, so I decided to give it a go. Here’s my take:
