I usually don’t “lift” other people’s work, but since Label Tulip is doing a birthday countdown, I wanted to play along with one of their challenges. Players get to seek inspiration from a Tulip Girl! I “lifted” two Tulip Girls:
…and I created a couple of layouts for my good friend, Bekka. We decided to SWAP pictures and make layouts for each other. Bekka, I hope you like both of them. Here’s the first “lift”:
…and here’s the 2nd “lift”:
This layout was about Bekka’s adorable cat. I loved these photos, so I had fun time creating this layout.
What’d you think of my “scraplifts”?! I loved both layouts from the original designers, so it was easier for me to recreate their work.
!!!!!!!!!!!!FUN NEWS!!!!!!!!!!
Head on over to My Favorite Things for a generous giveaway! You’re going to want to check it out. Seriously, do it! I promise that you will not regret it. ![]()
…and if you leave me a comment and let me know that you checked it out, I’ll put your name into another drawing for a RAK of fun scrapping stuff.
You have until the grand opening to play – July 15th, 11:59 pm.
What are you waiting for?! Comment away here and here.
Also, this made me smile. Thank you, DreamGirls – it really is an honor to have been chosen.
Oh, and the dogs wanted to give a shout out to all (and remind you to leave a comment for a chance to win).
"Hi, world! Please send treats my way!"
Happy Wednesday!
Hugs,
sarah.

Sarah, you outdid yourself!!! Have I told you that you’re talented? You totally are! I am loving all the little details! Those flowers on the second one — I might ask you to teach me how to make them!
Thank you so much for such lovely, thoughtful layouts!! (I had to explain to my husband why I was grinning and squealing so much – HA!)
My first layout for you is currently upstairs, patiently waiting for glue. I should be ready to share by tomorrow night!
And congrats on winning the challenge!

You did an awesome job lifting. I’ve lifted some before for challenges and enjoyed doing that. It’s amazing though that how every scrapper does differently even when scraplifting from a same layout. No page turns out the same.

Hi Sarah
Love your lifts! I’m not a ‘lifter’ either and I’d really struggle with that process if I had to do one, I struggle with sketches too, so admire anyone who can accomplish a good lift, as you have!
