I know. I know. I wrote an entry already today, but I couldn’t resist.
Okay, so who doesn’t love waking up to notes like this?! Found this on the door earlier this week, and I forgot to share.
That made me smile for the rest of the day.
Hugs,
sarah.
There’s nothing really new on my end. The week seems to be going by soooooooooooooo slowly. Bleh. Hopefully, things start to pick up from here on out.
I wanted to share some of my latest projects.
These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things posted a new challenge today! This time around, we ask that you scrap about your favorite time of the day. What’s your favorite? Mine is SUNSET! …and let me tell you that the best sunset to watch is the one in Hawaii on Sunset Beach.
It’s absolutely gorgeous. One day, I’m going to live there and be able to watch the sunset everyday, hehe.
Anyway, I digress; here’s my layout for this challenge:
…and here’s some other recent layouts I made for fun:
I also finished up a mini album about the engagement.
It’s just my way of documenting how and when it happened.
Last but not least, I wanted to thank Julie for these really cute goodies I got in the mail. Cute stuff, don’t you think?!
Thanks so much, Julie!
Have a great rest of the week!
Hugs,
sarah.
Our weekend was pretty laid back compared to the usual weekend. We just sat around and enjoyed doing NOTHING, haha!
Well, spending time running around outside was fun.
"Aren't I studly?!"
"I'm as sweet as can be. Tug-o-war time, please?!"
Enjoying fresh air is always a favorite past time.
Pink Sketches is now on Sketch #47. It’s a fun and pretty simple sketch, so head on over to join in on the creativity. Here’s the sketch and my take on it:
Also, please help me congratulate the new girls that Kelli picked to be on the Pink Sketches design team by heading over to the Pink Sketches blog and leaving them some love. They totally rock, and I can’t wait to see all of their amazingly creative stuff!
This second layout was done using the current sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays. I had a fun time using up more of the latest from Fancy Pants Designs; I totally love the Rough and Tough line. It’s adorable!
Lastly, I haven’t done a RAK in a while, so how about some free scrapping goodies?! Just leave a comment saying anything you want, and I’ll enter your name into the random drawing to win.
Seriously, you can write whatever your heart desires — tell me where to find your blog, what’s your dog’s name, your favorite color, how many kids do you have, your favorite TV show, etc. I’ll give you until Friday, October 2nd by 11:59 pm to play.
Happy Monday (even though I wish it was Thursday already)!
Hugs,
sarah.
PS: Sending our greetings from California.
ACK! Gloria is taking over for the night.
Today I felt really accomplished. I woke up at 6:30AM (while Sarah stayed in bed), so I could meet up with my dad at 7:30am to do a 21.56 mile bike ride. After that I had dim sum with my parentals and then headed back home. Upon arriving home, Sarah and I made a trip to check out Pooch Hotel. They have a 10,000 sq. ft. indoor/outdoor large dog play area with private board rooms for your “fur-baby”. To top it off there was even a pool, SPAW(spa), and dog gym. I would love to have a pup treadmill in the house, but unfortunately money does not grow on trees.

I am looking forward to tomorrow because I get to spend it with Sarah, and we have ZERO plans. Sometimes ZERO plan days make all the hustle and bustle seem ten times more manageable. Jack Johnson is releasing the En Concert DVD. I have been impatiently waiting for this. Also, for all the obsessed Madonna lovers out there (which includes myself), Madonna’s Celebration CD is coming out this Tuesday.
Adieu,
Gloria
Friday is always the best day of the week for me. I’m in love with Fridays. I seriously am.
I’m totally looking forward to the weekend.
On another note, if I told you yesterday was eventful, that would be an understatement. I spent a big chunk of the day talking to bridal/wedding consultants, and I didn’t think it would be that exhausting. …but it totally is. I went to a couple different wedding gown shops to get a taste of bridal gowns. I just wanted to see what was on the market and for how much. Goodness, gracious — no one ever told me that it was THAT difficult. It’s not like I’m going to buy a dress RIGHT NOW. Just getting in and out of wedding gowns is seriously a workout.
Dress shopping is seriously going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG haul.
I like the front, but I'm not into all of the intricate beading work.
After being beat up by wedding gowns, Gloria and I met up with a friend at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Surprisingly, I have never been to this museum, so I had a fun wandering around looking at all of the current exhibits. Here’s a peek into the museum:
Can you believe this is made from fabric?!
Love this color!
I thought this was romantic.
Check out all of the poodles!
Afterwards, we took a quick visit to our friend’s school, California College of the Arts. She showed us around , and I had a grand time exploring what an art student experiences on an everyday basis. All in all, it was a busy and tiring day.
Oh, and I wanted to share my morning. I woke up to brush my teeth, and I came back to the room to find this:
"We own this bed."
You’ve gotta love the silly things they do sometimes.
Happy Friday!
Hugs,
sarah.

The BITCH is back! I totally admire her because she speaks whatever she wants. Do I think she’s a bitch?! Ummmm, no. There’s nothing wrong with a girl speaking the truth.
Host (to Kristin): Is The Hills going to be better now that you are on it?
Kristin: DUH!
Her answer was ingenious!
