This is Halloween. This is Halloween.
I just wanted to share a couple of photos because it’s Halloween.
There’s this house about 10 minutes from where we live that goes all out for Halloween. When I say “goes all out”, I really mean “GOES ALL OUT”. This house has been featured on TV nationwide many times before, so we wanted to see what the hype was all about. It’s called the DC Cemetery. I didn’t take that many photos, but here’s some to look at:
The best part about this house is that it’s interactive. Some of the figures move and “talk”. There’s even music that plays in the background. It’s pretty cool. If you want to see more of it, here’s a video about it:
…and I thought it would be fun to do a RAK for Halloween.
Just leave a comment to this post telling me the best costume that you saw this year, and I’ll put your name into the drawing. If I’m over THIRTY comments, I’ll draw two names, and send prizes out to TWO different people. You have until Wednesday, November 4th to play!
Now, it’s time for me to start packing.
Hugs,
sarah.

Yeah, I know that was pretty lame, but I really could not resist. I wanted to wish everyone a SAFE and Happy Halloween (I’m posting slightly early because I’m going to be busy packing for Sunday and eating candy… ooops! I mean giving out candy)! Hope you don’t get “tricked”, but you get all the the “treats” you want.
Just a couple of layouts to share today.
This layout was used with a bunch of scraps I had leftover from a class I had taken earlier this month. It’s a quick and simple layout. Seriously, it took me ten minutes to make. ((If you haven’t heard, I’m a FAST scrapper. I cut and glue… quickly!))
TAAFOMFT posted Challenge #8: Favorite Trip/Vacation. Well, who would have guessed that I would want to scrap about Hawaii?! HAHA. Yeah, yeah… I created a layout with pictures from a trip to Hawaii with friends. I totally LOVE this layout for its colors. Check it out:
Anyway, head on over to TAAFOMFT to check out the rest of the layouts from the rest of the gals on the team. Their projects are super creative. Oh, and make sure to play along because there are THREE prizes up for grabs. Yeah, you heard that right. THREE, not ONE!
Halloween celebration time!
Hugs,
sarah.
…and before I forget, Jing-Jing nominated me to this award. ((Thank you!)) As for my blog being “over the top” — I’m not too sure about that. LOL. I find it to be actually pretty boring, but thanks to everyone who stops by and checks in.

I am officially sick. BLECH! I hate when I feel icky. My nose is runny, my head’s congested, and I’ve been blowing my nose all day. Hopefully, I’ll be better by Sunday. Anyway, I’ll try to make this quick because I should be resting.
Today, I got two emails that had me smiling from ear to ear.
Toot #1:
One of my latest projects is now being featured on the Creating Keepsakes blog!!! Click here if you want to check it out.
Toot #2:
I got an email today notifying me that one of my layouts is going to be published.
Wooot!!!
Oh, and before I forget… if you are in the area and want to take one of my classes, click here. I’ll be over at A Work of Heart in November teaching a mini album class, and I want to see you locals there. I’ll get more pictures posted soon – I promise.
As for the winner of the RAK… Come on down….
Vel
Aww, I love all your LOs so much! You did such a great job with these products.
Let’s see, funniest costume was probably when my sister wore a garbage bag and attached banana peels, wadded paper etc. to it and called herself trash. ![]()
