((…and I’m going to steal her photos too.))

I’m taking over for Sarah today. She’s busy working on a project so she requested that I blog about our little excursion on Thursday.

Sarah and I headed off to Napa on Thursday afternoon, so she could pick up supplies from Scrappers Depot and take a class she signed up for there as well.

We decided to venture to Napa a little earlier to explore. Not knowing exactly where to go, I googled dog friendly wineries in Napa we could visit. Apparently there are tons of wineries that are dog friendly in Napa, and so with limited time, we headed off to Clos Du Val Winery in Napa. It’s not a large winery, but it is beautiful. The building itself is covered in ivy with beautiful wood doors. Inside the tasting room, the aroma of newly open wine lingered beneath our noses. Bliss.

Napa

There are acres upon acres of vines all over Napa.

Here's just a handful of grapes on the vine. :)

After that we decided to just drive down 121 and stop at every Winery that we thought looked nice. There was one winery that aesthetically stood out. There was a mini castle in the middle of Napa, how strange, but I was pleased.

5:30pm finally rolled around, and we grabbed a quick bite at Quiznos before I dropped Sarah at the scrapbook store.

For the next two hours, I hung out with one of our friends and explored downtown Napa. We made a feeble attempt to get to the Canine Dog Park in Napa, but the drive was a little longer than I anticipated. The sun started to set, so I thought it would be wise to turn around. Next stop… lounging around downtown Napa until Sarah was done. 8pm came pretty fast and Sarah, and I decided to head up to visit her parents since we were half way to their house. By the time we got up there, I was pooped. Definitely a crazy Thursday.

Okay, it’s me Sarah, now. :)

I finished designing and creating a mini album for an upcoming class I’m teaching. Once I get more details on the class, I’ll post pictures.

For now, I wanted to share a couple of pictures from Scappers Depot in Napa.

I finally got to meet Brittny, a fellow scrapper and blogger. She taught a class on Thursday night, so I thought, “Oh, what the heck?! I’ll come hang out!” She’s such a sweetheart with A LOT of talent, and it was definitely a fun night.
