These past couple of days have been surprisingly productive.
On Friday, we hosted our mini Thanksgiving celebration, which has become a tradition at our home. After our festive dinner, we start decorating for Christmas. Have we finished decorating?! Not even close! We still have to put up stockings and garlands, put up the outdoor lights, and so much more! …but first we have to get through Thanksgiving!
Gloria?! Decorating?! Did I miss something?!
Maui thought some of the ornaments were good enough to eat.
"This is sooooo boring! Decorating takes forever, so I'm just going to sleep!"
Once we finish the tree, I’ll make sure to share with everyone.
Yesterday, we headed to Gloria’s parents’ house to help set up their Christmas tree. Funny how we finished their tree, but we didn’t finish ours, haha!
Maui and Hilo had fun. No, not because they got some chicken from the grandparents, but because they had fun running around, hehe.
Their tree this year is red!
The goofballs were hanging out by the tree.
Scrapping updates:
Recently, I wrote up a review for Scrapbooking Supplies R Us; it’s the online store for Memories Live On. Here’s a couple of projects I created using some of the latest from American Crafts.
To read my review on the “Merrymint” line, click here.
…and don’t forget, Zutter is still doing the 12 Days of Christmas! If you need some Christmas inspiration, head on over to the forum to see some projects, challenges, and giveaways!
Now, I’m off to do run some errands today.
Happy Sunday,
sarah.

That photo of Maui & Hilo by the tree is priceless! They are just too cute. Did I ever mention that Bryn asked me over & over again if Maui & Hilo were coming with you & Gloria to AZ? And then she’d ask me to please ask you to bring them. I kept telling her that they probably weren’t going to be flying on the airplane with you. LOL!
I ♥ the LO & card… both so adorable & inspiring!
Have fun decorating!

WOW, that tree is wonderful!!!!
I am so surprised to see how busy you girls allready are for Christmas!! Here in Holland NOBODY decorates the tree before december 5th, because then we celebrate Sinterklaas. Sinterklaas is someone like Santa Claus, an old man who brings presents. It’s an important tradition here and we honour that. When he ‘leaves’ Holland on dec. 6th, the Christmasdecorations jump out of their boxes, lol!
Wishing you a wonderful week!

Wow people, it’s Thanksgiving Day! I’m enjoying my extra day off, and I am planning to doing something fun that will probably involve a car trip and seeing something new in Pike Creek I haven’t seen yet.
You write new post at Thanksgiving?

You’ve got some really nice decorations! I love decorating for Christmas. I always blast the Christmas music and get the decorations up in a couple of hours. Most of my decorations are handmade. Every year I add something new to the collection or I replace something that has fallen apart or gotten old. There have been other projects I have done in the past, like “card door runners” that hang on the interior doors of the house. I’ve made wreaths, and Christmas ornaments too. It’s a lot of fun to get creative and add something unique to your decorations.
