Why is it that weekends always come and go by so fast?! I wish the weekend was four days long instead of two.
This weekend, we spent time with our good friend, Jennie. Maui and Hilo loved the company. They especially loved to peek out the window to watch the golfers on the golf course!
M: Hilo, check out that golfer right over there. H: He totally swung and missed the ball! Arf! Arf!
M: See! Isn't the view so much better OUTSIDE?! H: Shhh, I'm trying to find bugs.
M: Wait up for me! H: C'mon, hurry up!
Gloria and the dogs enjoyed spending time with Jennie.
Can you tell by their BIG smiles?
Thanks so much for having us over, Jennie! Can’t wait to hang out with you again.
…and I’ve got scrappy updates to share today. I’ve been busy doing LOTS of design work. On top of that, I’ve also been trying to design make and takes for CHA. There’s still lots to do, but I’m staying afloat.
Imaginisce just announced some pretty exciting news. This month they are releasing the new i-top backers for 2010. We like to call them the new “Magnet Daddies“. Basically, you get to make your own magnets with the i-top! Pretty neat, huh?! Here’s an old magnet board that I “embellished”:
Not only did I make these fun flower magnets for the magnetic board… I also made magnets using some of our pictures! The “magnet daddies” can make CUSTOM magnets! I turned this into a yearly calendar that can be used over and over. I brought out my handy dandy bind-it-all for the months, so you can flip the booklet of months to the current month. Also, the dates on the calendar are all magnetic numbers, so you can adjust them to each month.
Last week, I had some extra time to create a unique giftcard holder. For this project, I used some of my Urban Lily stash. Make sure to head on over to their blog to read my latest post about this project; there’s a brief tutorial with the how-tos if you are interested.
I will be back very soon with more. …and I’m sorry if I haven’t stopped by some of your blogs to leave love. I’ve been swamped with CHA stuff, but I promise I’ll try to catch up as soon as I can.
Hugs,
sarah.
Wow! I just saw that I am only 20 views away from 40,000. That is so INCREDIBLE. How lucky I am to have such an awesome group of readers coming back to read my gibber jabber!
