2010 February 02 « Red Oak Lines

Yesterday, I found out that I get to be a guest designer for Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker! How cool is that?! I honestly didn’t think that my name was going to be on that list, so it was definitely a pleasant surprise. Thank you, Nikki, for this amazing opportunity. Speaking of her paper, she handed me some at CHA to play with. Here’s a layout I did with one of her newest lines, Bella Blue and Oscar Too:

On another note, I finally received my January Green Tangerines kit, and I had a ton of fun playing with the colors in this one. I used it for some of my older pictures.

Who has the problem of accumulating tons of leftover scraps?! I do! This year, I’ve been trying to use up everything. Besides, in the long run, using your leftovers can save you a ton of money.

I had a bunch of Kiki Art scraps on the tabletop, so I decided to create something. I even used the chipboard leftover from the glittered hearts.

Hilo hasn’t been groomed yet, but we trimmed his Schnauzer eyebrows. He can actually see where he’s walking now without his hair getting in the way.

Maui and Hilo are officially professional wrestlers in the grass. It was Maui’s idea, and Hilo decided to follow. Of course, Mommy (that would be me) thought it was a horrible idea. They get their feet super dirty.
