It really doesn’t matter if you are single or if you are with the LOVE of your life. This weekend should honestly be about YOU. Bottom line is… you should make sure to LOVE who you are.
Today was spent immersed in Chinese culture — EATING! LOL. We went out for dim sum at Koi Palace early this morning with Gloria’s mother. It had been a while since I last had dim sum, so I really enjoyed today’s food!

If you haven’t eaten dim sum, you should give it a try. It’s delicious!
…and here are some other random pictures from today:

"That's a monster! Get away from it!"

"It's going to come and get me!"

Spring is coming! The daffodils are in bloom!

Isn't this pretty?!

"No, I don't need to be groomed even though my hair is way too long."

"I told you that my hair was fine. ARGH."
For dinner, because it’s Chinese New Year’s Eve, we had some traditional dishes, but I personally requested my FAVORITE Malaysian dish, gado gado. It’s basically a type of salad. It’s not a typical Chinese New Year dish, but I was really craving it. I’m so glad that Gloria’s mom made it for me! YUMMY!

The Wacky Wednesday story was out of control WACKY!
For those that participated, I hope you were thoroughly entertained. I’ll need to put it together in a story, edit it slightly, and I’ll post next week.
I did, however, pick a winner.

Congratulations, Kim! Send me an email at redoaklines[at]gmail[com], and I’ll send out your goodies. To the rest of the players, no worries. I plan on doing another one very soon!
Now, I’m off to watch more of the Winter Olympics.
Happy LOVE everyone. …and don’t forget to LOVE yourself first.
