You don’t know what Canuck means?!

Well, that’s okay because I didn’t know what it meant until earlier this year. When I first met Arantza, more commonly known as Kiki, she would throw around the word Canuck in conversation. She would say it, and her friends would say it. To be quite honest, it baffled me every time I would hear it. Eventually, Kiki enlightened me on the term. It’s just an informal way of saying Canadian. Pretty inventive name, eh? ;)

…so why am I talking about Canada?! I’m talking about Canada because I was invited to go to ScrapFest next month!

We just finalized the plans this week, and I’m so thrilled! Want to know what’s going to be the best part about this trip?! I get to spend time with my friend, Kiki!  …and yes, this is the Kiki from Kiki Art. She’s so fun to be around, and we are going to have a blast! :)

…so if any of my Canadian friends are going to this event, please let me know! I’d LOVE for you to stop by the booth. It would be fun to meet up, eh?! ;)

Now, I have to finish a couple of projects I started yesterday. I blame LOST for distracting me from creating!

PS: How awesome is it that I get to travel for scrapbooking?! Seriously, it’s a dream come true! A lot of people can’t say this, but I honestly LOVE LOVE LOVE my job. :)

I usually don’t watch TV very often, but I do have some must sees! Over at TAAFOMFT, a new challenge was posted! The prompt this time around is your favorite TV show! I couldn’t just pick one show, so I picked my top favorites as of right now. The layout I created below features some of Donna Salazar‘s latest papers:

In no particular order, these are my four favorites as of right now: 1. Glee 2. Lost 3. I Shouldn’t Be Alive 4. Modern Family. If you have a favorite show(s), make sure to head on over to TAAFOMFT. We’d LOVE to see you play along with us!

My local scrapbook store wanted me to create a sample using the Fairy Tales line by Reminisce. I didn’t know how to start my layout, so I used a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays to help me get started.

This is what my finished layout looks like:

I'm always trying to find ways to use my metal trinkets!

Remember the mini album I posted yesterday?!

Well, it’s featured over at the Punky Sprouts blog today. More of the inner pages are posted over there if you are interested. :)

Recently, I was given news that made my day! I found out that I was a winner over at the Bo Bunny blog! Check out my winning layout here. Moreover, I won over at the Jillibean Soup blog last week! I was not expecting to win either of those challenges, but I’m excited that I did. I played along just to use the sketch as inspiration, and I’m so glad that I did!

On another note, I promised my uncle and aunt a photo shoot of their daughter, so this weekend, my cousin pretended to be a “model”.  I know many of you saw my photo album on Facebook, but I thought I’d share a few of the pictures on my blog. She’s totally a natural. I can’t wait to get these photos onto a scrapbook layout! ;)

That’s all I have for now, but I’ll be back soon to let you in on some exciting plans for next month. I can’t wait to share!

Hilo turns one today, but we didn’t celebrate his barkday today. We plan on celebrating it later on during the week though, which is a good thing because I’m still working on his pupcake. Good thing Hilo doesn’t know what today is, haha. ;)

As most of you know, I’ve been missing in action recently. Again, I apologize for not being able to stop by everyone’s blogs or respond to emails as quickly as I normally do. I will make an effort to catch up with everyone this week.  On top of being busy, I have not been feeling too well. Physically, my body hurts. Mentally, I’m exhausted. …and emotionally, I feel torn. I think resting will do me some good, but this weekend was definitely not restful.

On Saturday, we met up with a friend, Steven, in the city to discuss some legalities. The weather was so perfect, so we couldn’t resist heading to the beach to sit and chit chat.

On Sunday, I spent time with my family. I hadn’t seem them in weeks, so a visit was long overdue.

"I need a break too!"

"Me three!"

Gloria's version of our house. Why am I faceplanted?!

It was nonstop this weekend. I didn’t even get a chance to scrap anything! :( Hopefully, this week, I’ll be able to get my creativity on. I’ve got my fingers crossed, hehe. :)

Even though it’s been a couple of days since I’ve been in my zone, I created another really cute mini album last week. I used a Punky Sprouts album to create this one. However, I switched out the original binding by putting in brown owires from Zutter. I also used the Live Loud collection by Imaginisce on this project. I think it turned out mighty cute! What do you think?

On the Zutter owires, I used matching ribbon to tie fun chipboard. Doesn’t add tons of character?!

A handful of people have suggested that I post pictures of the inside of my mini albums. Some of my mini albums are personal, so I don’t like to disclose that for everyone to see. …and to to tell you the truth, I am very critical about my work. This time, however, I thought I’d be generous and share this mini album. Here are some pictures of what the inner pages look like in this one:

Aren’t the colors to this mini album rockin’?! …and those Zutter owires match perfectly with that Imaginisce line. Looking at this mini album brings back a lot of fun memories from last summer. That’s a good thing right?! Isn’t that what scrapbooking is all about  — remembering the good times (and the bad times, too)!

I plan on posting tomorrow because I’ve been such a slacker. Until then…

PS: My head hurts! Thank you, Massage!

Thank you to all who stopped by this past weekend for the Zutter blog hop! I read each and every comment, and I totally appreciate all of the wonderful and sweet words that were left. Hopefully, you were inspired to create something with your BIA.

I wish that I could pick more than one winner; however, only one name was drawn. …and the winner from my blog is…

Monika, please email nan@binditall.com with your shipping info to claim your prize!

I’ll be back later tonight with one of my regular posts.

Note:  My blog format is set up for comments to be at the top of the post, so some of you are leaving comments for the blog hop on the previous post. Make sure you are leaving love on THIS post. I will remind you again at the bottom.

Are you here for the Zutter blog hop?! … If so, welcome to my blog! It’s good to have Zutter fans stop by! Feel free to browse around for inspiration if you would like.

Hoppity hop hop go the Zutter Zisters! Zutter is hosting a fun blog hop with a handful of giveaways! …and because I am a Zutter Zister, I wanted to pass on some inspiration to get you in the Zutter mood.

I’m a big fan of Zutter’s white owires! Hmmm, what gave that one away?! ;) If you’re not a fan of white owires like me, did you know that they come in a handful of different colors?! Some of these colors are black, baby blue, pink, antique silver, and antique brass. On top of the various colors, there are different owire sizes for all of your binding needs! Check out the wire product page to get all the details.

I’m also a fan of Zutter’s Round-it-All. I use it for every corner that I want rounded. …and did you know it comes in two sizes — 1/2″ and 1/4″? It works on just about everything I have tried it on. It punches through stacks of papers, chipboard, cardboard, clipboard, metal, acrylic, etc. You name it, and I’m sure it’ll punch right through it.

I’m also a fan of Zutter’s cover-alls and inner pages! The cover-alls come in an array of sizes and colors, too. Below, one of my inner pages worked as a mat for my photo. Pretty clever, don’t you think?! Oh, and there’s a great shot of how the round-it-all rounded my corners!

Did you know that you can use the Dreamkuts to create your own inner pages?! You have the option to cut whatever paper you want. On top of that, you have the option to switch up the cuts to different sizes. For me, the Dreamkuts works magic when I teach classes or host make and takes! It seriously saves me so much time. Here’s a video of it in action:

So, what do you think?! Do you feel inspired to bust out your Zutter products?! If so, then I have accomplished my goal for this blog hop!

Remember to leave a comment telling me you love Zutter, and you will be eligible to win a package of antique brass hang-it-alls, a package of antique silver hang-it-alls, and a Rivet Hammer/Setter Set. You have until the evening of March 29th, Monday, to leave a comment!

Make sure to visit my fellow Zutter Zisters because their blogs are loaded with inspiration today. All of us are giving away prizes, so there will be a winner on every blog! In case you get lost along the way, here’s a list of the Zutter Zisters:
