I was so thrilled when I saw that I had received some happy mail!
The UPS truck drove up to the front of our house, and Maui and Hilo started to bark. I knew it was a package, but I kept thinking, “I didn’t order anything recently.” It turns out that it’s an early birthday present that was delivered to me. I’m not supposed to open it until my birthday, so the package is taunting me, hehe.
Also, thank you to Deana, Jessi, and Mel for your thoughtful happy mail. When I say that I am so blessed and thankful to have “met” such amazing people, I truly mean that.

Check out this birthday present that Mel sent my way!

I love this painting of Maui and Hilo! It totally looks like them! Thanks so much for this early birthday gift!!! It really made my day!
Speaking of Maui and Hilo, I wanted to share a couple of random photos that I took of them. They were being extra adorable, so I had to bust out the camera.

"This is my model pose, Mommy. Do you like it?! Aren't I the cutest doggy ever?!"

"You're doing it wrong, Hilo. Let me show you how it is done..."

"See... You have to show off your pupface!"

"Like this, Maui?"
This past weekend, I didn’t get much time to create anything new; I was swamped all of Saturday and Sunday. Yesterday, however, I had an hour or two to get crafty.
Using the latest sketch from Sketchy Thursdays totally helped. Here’s the current sketch:

I used a mirrored version of the sketch and added a couple of things here and there, but I think it looks pretty similar to the sketch. Here’s my take using a variety of products from Kiki Art, Hambly, and Imaginisce:
…and here’s one I made for my little brother, Sean, using one of the latest lines from My Mind’s Eye:
I finished a couple more design team projects, one of them being a Zutter project, but I can’t post any of them quite yet.
Stay tuned for those!
Lastly, a ton of people have been asking me where to pick up Kiki Art products. Kiki (the owner) is still currently working on writing up a list with stores that sell her products, so stay tuned for that. That list is growing day by day, so I’m sure it’s tough trying to keep it updated. I do know that this online store carries Kiki Art. Also, try winning one of the many giveaways from Kiki Art. Hopefully, you’ll be a winner.
1. One of the giveaways can be seen here on the blog.
2. Another one is exclusive to Facebook Fans, so if you are on Facebook join the Kiki Art Fan Page! For every 50 new fans, there’s a giveaway.
Hope that helps.
Be back tomorrow!
