2010 March 11 « Red Oak Lines

I’m pretty sure that everyone goes through crummy days in life, but not everyone can talk about it. I’ve got to give myself kudos for sharing my feelings, right? Thank you to everyone for the smiles. It really made my day to read the jokes, watch the funny videos, look at silly pictures, and everything else that was either commented or emailed to me. I smiled after reading each and every comment. Again, thank you, thank you, and thank you.

On another note, I’ve been requested to design projects to be displayed at a local craft expo. I still have a handful of stuff to complete, but I thought I’d share a few of the projects I have finished thus far.

I was given some of the latest Prima stuff to create with. I love the colors to this line. It’s so happy, and it’s making me antsy for spring!

Talk about getting messy on a layout! I misted and glittered on this one. I usually am all about the clean look, but I decided to get dirty on this one. Good thing I did because I really love how this one turned out.

The second layout I created was inspired by Sketchy Thursdays. I played around with this sketch:

On this layout, I misted on all chipboard pieces, meaning the alphas and the flowers. I also added glitter accents to this one too. Can you believe it?! Sarah actually busted out her glitter and sprays!

I even misted my way through a mini album. This one is created with a Maya Road chipboard album using more Prima paper.

…so what do you think?! I’m becoming a pro at this misting thing, don’t you think?!

I have a couple more random photos of Maui and Hilo. When I have children, they’re really going to get annoyed at all the photos I take of them. Maui and Hilo always give me the eye when I bring the camera out, haha.
