There have been so many things that I’ve wanted to jot down in the past couple of weeks, but I didn’t get the chance to actually just sit down and blog. Thus, it’s time for a much needed update.
These past couple of weeks have been extremely busy at Our Paper Place. We had two more sold out National Scrapbook Day all-day crops! Talk about exhausting, right?! Although extremely tiring, it was heaps of fun. It was our very first NSD at the store, so we are very pleased with the response we’ve been getting.
Here are some random photos from the 2nd NSD crop:

Tammy teaches at the store, so she offered to do a free demo on how to use sprays to make flowers!

Angel and Suzy cropped the day away. ![]()

Mother/daughter duo, Gina and Peggy! Aren’t they cute with their matching shirts?!

Being wack-a-do in the store — it’s a normal thing for us, haha!
Here are some photos from the last crop day:
Betts, one of our fab croppers, was super productive.
Angela was crowned the 3rd Queen of the Crop!
It was definitely loads of fun, and I can’t wait for next year’s events. What was even cooler was that my best friend, Lindsay, from high school came out to visit the shop that day! She hadn’t been in yet, so I was super excited to have her drop in. …and some things still don’t change, haha. Here’s why:

We were total dorks in high school, and I’m pretty sure we still are. We made sure to get a “normal” photo of us and I’m glad that we did. It’s totally scrap-worthy!

Before you can say anything to the photo below, I have to explain the situation. Lindsay is one of my taller friends, and Gloria is one of my shorter friends. (Note: Neither of them are too tall or too short. I had to make sure that I didn’t offend either of them, haha!) Thus, I had to document the moment:

Yesterday, I planned on being creative at last night’s crop. At first, I felt so unmotivated, but the longer I let all of my ideas marinate, the more I felt the need to make something. I managed to finish some samples for Our Paper Place!
Here’s a layout that shows off Echo Park‘s Splash collection:

….and of course, some American Craft goodness. The following layout uses their fun summery paper, Margarita.

Last but not least, I had the chance to use up some of Creative Imaginations‘ IOD paper! Absolutely gorgeous beach paper! The photos don’t do it enough justice; it’s prettier in person.

Okay that’s pretty much it for today. As far as the next time I blog, hopefully it’ll be soon (and with some photos from this upcoming weekend voyage).
I love my days off!

PS: Yes, I’m addicted to purses right now, lol.
