What do jeans and trousers have in common? Well, they’re both pants. However, the real question should be…
…are they Fancy Pants?!
I recently used some Rusted Sun by Fancy Pants, and I loved it as much as my favorite pair of jeans. I used some older pictures from one of our trips to Hawaii because it worked so well with these papers.

I went on a date this past weekend — with paper. LOL. Yeah, I know… pretty pathetic, huh?! Well, who cares?! I surely don’t because I got my creative side on. I made sure that I finished designing a mini album for the class I’m teaching. Once I get the “okay” to share all the details, I’ll make sure to post pictures of it.
I also finished a couple of layouts and a mini album for Memories Live On, one of the local scrapbook stores in my area. It’s so awesome that I get to create stuff to display in a store for others to look at for inspiration.
My first layout for the store was created using this week’s sketch over at Pink Sketches. It has the latest paper from Best Creations, Inc.
Another layout using the latest from Best Creations, Inc. was made for my local scrapbook store. I entitled it “Sweet Pups” because Scrapfreak is hosting a challenge to create a layout using the word “sweet” in your title. …and can you believe it?! I finished a double page layout!! My first one in over a year! LOL. Check it out:

I also finished a project to display in the scrapbook store. I made another Christmas mini album. This time, however, I used one of the latest lines from Little Yellow Bicycle, which I totally love because the paper packs are cut to match the acrylic and chipboard pieces to the albums.

…and here’s a layout I finished just for fun using up some of my Fancy Pants Designs scraps:

Oh, and before I forget – tomorrow starts the OZZ (Original Zutter Zisters) Blog Hop! There are some awesome prizes up for grabs and tons of inspiration to look at, so make sure to stop by the Bind It All blog. I promise that you’re gonna love it!
Okay, enough scrappity scraps for today. How about I leave you with some photos I shot of Maui and Hilo this weekend?!

"MUHAHA!! I'm the coolest dog in town!"

"Did you need something?!"

Seriously, they are weirdos!

"Don't you think I'm adorable?!"

"I'm cuter than Hilo!"
Hope everyone has a fabulous week!
Hugs,
sarah.
Where did the weekend go?! I swear it was just Friday, but don’t I say that every Monday?!
I feel like someone’s gotta kick Mondays in the arse.
We still had guests over last night, so I was still playing hostess with the mostess. I did, however, slip in some time to scrap for an hour or so. I finished one layout, which is definitely better than nothing. I played with the new Fancy Pants Designs. They’ve got some cute new things this time around. Check it out:
Julie bought some CUTE little embellies for me to play with. Isn’t she sooooo sweet?! I love them, and I can’t wait to create something with it.
Thank you, Julie! This totally made my day.
I’ve been slowly pulling out the fall decorations from our storage, and I finally found the wreath I made for our door last year. I’ve been too busy to create something for this season, so I decided to reuse it. Here’s another picture of our wreath with the “Home Sweet Home” sign:
I love the fall for its colors. Beautiful, isn't it?!
I can't wait for this fall -- so many fun things planned!
I know a lot of people have asked to see the scraproom. Well, to be honest, I haven’t posted pictures of it because it was going through a messy stage! …but then again, when is it not in a messy stage?! haha. LOL. Once I start creating, I make a mess here, and then it’s there. By the time I finish, it’s in the dining room. Yikes! Can you believe I managed to make a mess in the dining room too?!
This was taken last week. I made sure it was cleaned up before the housewarming!
As for the furbabies, Maui and Hilo are doing wonderfully. Maui is the usual — gentle, sweet, and always on the lookout for squirrels and birds.
Her favorite hobby: on the lookout for squirrels.
Hilo, the monster, is growing way too fast. He just got his haircut, so he’s totally embarrassed about it right now because all of his spots can be seen.
He is SOOOOOO crazy, but oh so cute!
Now, I’m off to continue watching Say Yes to the Dress.
It’s making me want to go look around for dresses. hahaha.
Hugs,
sarah.
