I have not been this busy since I was in college trying to study for five different finals in the same week. …so if I’m not posting entries all the time, there’s a good reason for it. Trust me… I’ve been getting down and dirty. ;)

On another note, I thought I would share some of my latest creations.

Have you seen The Sampler‘s October kit?! It’s loaded with vibrant colors and tons of fun products to use. Here are a couple of layouts that I created with this month’s kit:

I especially love the Doggles layout just for those adorable pictures of Hilo. Every time I see these photos, I can’t help but smile. My dogs totally melt my heart. :)

Oh, and did I ever share my Little Yellow Bicycle layout that won a contest over at Two Peas!? Well, it was picked as one of the winning projects, and I was so surprised when I found out. Here it is:

…and here’s one of my very own sketches that I used to create the above layout:

Check out the post and all the details on that contest here.

Oh, and one more thing… my friend, Holly, wanted me to let you all know that she is doing some awesome giveaways over at her blog. Click here to check it out!

PS: Thanks to all those who left me encouraging words about my challenge. I really appreciate all of the support. ;) I will definitely keep all of you posted on the continuous progress.

I has been a total of five weeks since I embarked on this crazy journey of mine. There have been days where I have wanted to quit. However, for the most part, I have been pushing forward. …and I have to admit that I’m glad that I have come this far. Why?! Because…

  • I feel more energetic.
  • My clothes fit better.
  • My sleeping patterns have improved.

…and the best part:

Since the last time I shared the dreaded numbers, I have lost another 8 lbs! Thus, I have lost an overall total of 24 lbs with purely an increase in activity level and a change of diet.

Let’s just say that if I can do it, you can do it! :)

I drew a winner to the Cricut Cartridge from last week’s giveaway.

Congratulations to monica! Please shoot me an email via the Contact page, and I’ll get that cartridge out to you as soon as possible.

Now, it’s time for the weekly giveaway. Who wants to be the owner of this cute Maya Road book?!

On top of that, I’ll throw in a handful of embellishments to use to decorate it! If you want to be entered to win all of these goodies, just comment to this post with something that will make me smile. You have until next Tuesday, October 12th, by 11:59 pm to play.

Oh, and I didn’t forget! Here are those two layouts that I shared in my video from last week:

I love the simple design to this American Crafts layout. Who would have thought that Dear Lizzy papers would work so well with beach photos?! hehe.

Last but not least, here’s the My Paper Tree House layout:

That’s all I have for now. I’m hoping to get more projects done soon.

PS: I haven’t been taking the time to hit up each and everyone’s blogs recently. I have a really good excuse for that. Perhaps, very soon, I will be able to share what has been keeping me busier than I have ever been.

This week seems to be moving quickly, which I don’t mind at all. I’m all ready counting down the days until the weekend, haha! Monday was all about grocery shopping; the refrigerator was starting to look sparse. On Tuesday, I spent a good portion of my day cleaning the house. Today will be all about fostering my creativity. ;)

To start the day off, I wanted to share a couple of layouts that I created with the September kit from My Paper Tree House:

As you can see, it’s loaded with a ton of the latest from Crate Paper. Doesn’t it look fun?! It’s a perfect kit for those back to school photos, as well as those early fall photos. These kits tend to sell out quickly, so make sure to get yours before they’re all gone. If you are interested in picking one up, head on over to My Paper Tree House.

…so I’ve finished my daily workout, ate breakfast, and took the furry kids out on their morning walk. Now, I need to get ready to take them to doggy daycare because I need to do some major creating today over at Scrapbook Depot.

Happy (creative) Wednesday!

most of you know, I design for a couple of kit clubs. It’s nice to have everything already coordinated for you – cardstock, patterned paper, embellishments, etc. On top of that, the price that you pay for the amount of products you get are a steal. …and that’s no joke either!

Today, I wanted to share some layouts that I created for the kit clubs I design for.

I’m not sure if I shared this one already. If so, here it is again. This layout uses The Sampler‘s September kit.

I love the flowers on this one. They’re sporadically placed, but I think they add so much character to my overall page. Sometimes, throwing stuff down onto your layout without thinking about it makes for a really neat design. ;)

Here’s another one using the September kit from The Sampler:

When in doubt, use flowers. Seriously, it’s such a simple embellishment that makes any project look good, hehe.

The layout below was created with My Paper Tree House‘s July kit.

To see details about this layout, head on over to the MPTH blog because it was my day to post. ;)

In regards to my post yesterday, thank you for all of the encouraging comments. I plan to keep up with my challenge, so hopefully, I’ll see more progress this week.

The weekend was incredibly relaxing. We headed out to Monterey early Friday morning, and it was definitely needed. The weather was nice and cool for a laid back hike along the California coast.

…and Maui and Hilo totally enjoyed livin’ the high life. They basically took over the whole hotel room. They sprawled and played all over the bed, couch, and even the shower. ;) Now, I see why we have to pay pet fees when we travel, haha!

Yesterday. we spent time with friends at the park. I even got to take some fun photos of them, which I plan on posting later this week.

Oh, and I drew a winner to the ABC giveaway. …and the winner is:

Congratulations! Please send me a message via the Contact page to claim your Imaginisce prize.

Lastly, I wanted to share a couple of layouts that I recently finished for My Paper Tree House‘s August kit. I’m pretty sure I mentioned this already, but it’s loaded with some beautiful Echo Park Paper and some fun exclusive items to the kit!

If you’re interested in picking up one of these kits, head on over to My Paper Tree House. These kits tend to sell out fast, so hurry while they’re still available.

Happy Monday!
