((update: Ideas for Scrapbookers‘ post featuring Kiki Art is now up. Click here.))
…make sarah smile. Can you believe that this drawing is actually called make sarah smile?

Visit exploding dog, one of my daily reads.
I’ve been feeling under the weather for the past couple of days. Maybe I’m coming down with something, or maybe my emotions are toying with me. …or it could be because I haven’t been sleeping very well recently. Either way, I need to stay positive; life’s too short to feel like crap.
Someone please make me smile.
Maui tried to make me smile yesterday. She showed me that everyday should be Christmas.

I’m not sure if I ever shared this, so if I did, I apologize. Otherwise, I thought I’d post some Imaginisce inspiration. I created some magnets using the itop and some embellishments from the Sweet Cheri line!
What do you think? Do you want me to create a video tutorial for this flower magnet? If there’s a sufficient amount of people that want to learn how to make it, I’ll create a video. Please let me know by voting in the poll below.
If you haven’t played with an itop, you should give it a try. It’s not just for making brads; you can create pins and magnets as well. The best part about it is the versatility and creativity that comes from one tool!
On another note, Ideas for Scrapbookers‘ post for the day is something you don’t want to miss. Kiki Art kindly donated some products for the contributing artists to play with, and you’ll seriously be blown away by the talent.
Someone please make me smile.

Today I started my day early because I needed to take Hilo to the vet for one of his booster shots. Afterwards, I spent the whole day SHOPPING! I just got home about an hour ago. I’m super exhausted, but I can now cross off a bunch of things on the “Sarah needs to do this list”. Wrapping gifts is definitely one of those things on my list that does NOT have a line through it. YIKES! I better get to it because Christmas is right around the corner.
Because I was out all day shopping, I didn’t get a chance to craft in my scrap room, but I do have TONS to share today. Hope you’ll take a couple of minutes to check out my work.
That Scrappy Girl: I know I’ve mentioned this before, but this month’s kit is filled with a bunch of Pink Paislee and Elle’s Studio goodies. On top of all of the cards, gift tags, and mini albums I’ve created with this kit, I also created two layouts.
Kiki Art: This week, I volunteered to be in charge of an altered item project to share, so I decided to embellish a frame that was sitting around in my craft room. To find more details on this project, visit the Kiki Art blog for more information.
Imaginisce: Earlier this week, I announced a giveaway for some “sweet” stuff. Remember, that you have until Friday to enter. Anyway, I wanted to share more of the Sweet Cheri line. Here’s another layout I recently finished:
Also, in this layout, I used those cute little flower embellishments from Goshery. Cute stuff, yeah!?
Oh, and I never raved about some upcoming CUTENESS from Imaginisce. Check out these two new lines coming to stores near you:
Personally, I’ve had my eye on Scooter’s Vacation. Hmmm… I wonder why!? *wink* Is it because of the cute dog? Yes! Is it because it’s perfect paper for vacation photos? Yes! Is it because it’s cute? Yes! I can’t wait to show everyone my upcoming projects with these brand new lines; you’re going to love it all!
…and just because it’s the season of giving, I thought I would host another giveaway.
This time, it’s a RAK giveaway with at least a $25 value, probably more. Most likely, it’s going to be stuff from my stash that I have never used. If you want to be entered into this giveaway, leave a comment to this post telling me how you found my blog (i.e. was it a long time ago on someone’s site? was my blog linked to a forum?). You have until Saturday, December 19th, to play along! Share the giveaway on your blog, facebook, twitter, etc. and I’ll enter your name THREE times into the random drawing. Make sure to let me know if and where you shared the news.
You never know, I might just decide to draw TWO lucky winners instead of just one.
Spreading the holiday cheer,
sarah.
Christmas is just around the corner, but I decided to take a break from working on Christmas projects. Instead, I thought it would be fun to work with some of the latest from Imaginisce, the Sweet Cheri Line. It’s incredibly cute! If you don’t believe me, check out this layout I’ve recently created with this line:
Cute, don’t you think?!
If you want to get your hands on some of this cuteness, comment to this post by December 17th, Thursday, by 11:59 pm. I’ll draw a random name on Friday, and the winner will get a “sweet” Imaginisce prize.
**Other updates:
Yes, I’m still battling this nasty flu.
…and I’m pretty sure that the rain this weekend didn’t help my “Sarah needs to get better plan”. Also, when you have a mother throwing a work Christmas party for 70+ people and she needs you to decorate and wrap gifts, you don’t get much time to recover. *sigh*
Oh, and it didn’t help that I decided to go see The Princess and the Frog today, which by the way, was a pretty good Disney movie. Thanks, Scott for taking all of us to see it!
I know it sounds like I had a crummy weekend, but surprisingly, it was a GOOD weekend.
- I got word that another one of my projects is going to be published in an upcoming magazine. Wahooooo!
- I went to go see a movie.
- GOOD FOOD!
- Got tons of happy mail from friends!
Thank you especially to Chris, Hanneke, and Julie! Love you gals!
I promise I’ll be back with something more interesting, and don’t forget to comment to be entered into the giveaway!
Here’s to another week of life.
Happy Monday folks!
sarah.
((Yes, I have pictures from this weekend, but I haven’t uploaded them yet.))
