This past weekend has left me completely deprived from both sleep and scrap time, but I had such a fun weekend. Both my brothers came to visit the house this weekend. I had tons of fun with them around. It reminded me of my youth. We galavanted around the bay looking for good eateries and finding random places to keep us entertained.
On Saturday, we had a little get together for an early birthday celebration for Gloria. It was the first time cooking for a small dinner party in our newly renovated kitchen! Thank you, Jennie, Scott, and Sean for helping out. We had tremendous fun eating good food, playing board and video games, singing karaoke, and laughing at funny YouTube videos. Here is a video that kept us laughing for quite some time (You have to watch the WHOLE video):
Okay, so it’s not that funny, but at the time when we watched it… it was! LOL.
…and just a couple of pictures of family and friends having fun at the house. Once we get the rest of these uploaded, I’ll share more of my weekend.
On Sunday morning we had some of the best Dim Sum in the bay area (at least in my opinion). Holy crud, it was so good. If you have not tried Dim Sum, I encourage you to try it. You’d be missing out on some great Chinese Food! Head over to Koi Palace for amazing food. Here are a couple of pictures of delicious Dim Sum:
After a good Sunday brunch of Dim Sum, we headed to the city. My brothers and I had never seen The Painted Ladies located in San Francisco, so we decided to head over to Alamo Square. Perhaps you have seen these houses on TV or in pictures? I know it’s in Full House’s opening theme song!
Afterward, we just roamed around the city. We found a really cute dog boutique called Best in Show, and Maui ended up scoring another toy from Mommy. Here’s her latest “Octopus” from the Jax and Bones toy line:
She is totally in love with this toy, and she won’t put it down! hehe
And of course, to end the weekend, my little brother Sean really wanted to eat Yumi Yogurt over in San Mateo, so that’s just what we did.
And of course, here is my weekly Pink Sketches shout out. Making Memories was kind enough to sponsor the Pink Sketches DT with some of their amazing products. Head on over to see another great sketch for this week and to see some great ideas from the DT and this week’s Guest Designer. Here is what I came up with:
Materials: Paper Making Memories; Treehouse Memories; Bazzill Other Making Memories – Eyelets, Stickers, Ribbon, Fiber; Scenic Route – Stickers; Creative Imaginations – Stickers; Colorbox
Stay tuned for more pictures of this weekend either tonight or tomorrow!
