It’s the early hours of the day after Thanksgiving, also known in American society as Black Friday. I can’t seem to fall asleep. I drove to my parents’ to spend time with my family this weekend, but I think not being in the comfort of my own bed keeps me awake (and the sound of my younger brother snoring isn’t helping me either). I guess that is why I decided to write a post about my Thanksgiving since I can’t seem to fall asleep.
Thanksgiving left me completely stuffed. Everything was absolutely delicious, and I swear there is food to last us until Christmas. Hope everyone had as much fun as I did!
Everything was absolutely delicious. I over ate, but then again, who doesn’t indulge on Thanksgiving food?! Anyway, I always have a need to walk around after a big meal, so I headed over to Michaels. They were open the day of Thanksgiving for a couple of hours with FABULOUS deals. I ended up buying two Cricut cartridges for $29.99 each! Can you believe how cheap that is?! If you can make it to Michaels today (Friday), go pick up a cartridge, or two. 🙂
Last but not least, in my previous post, I mentioned a Christmas Card Exchange. A handful of people have already emailed me with their addresses, and they were added to my card list. If you want to exchange Christmas cards with me, there is still time to do so. Let me share the information again:
If you want to participate in a Christmas card exchange with me, I’d be willing and happy to do that since I love getting Christmas cards in the mail. I’m doing homemade cards, so for those of you who are really interested…
Email me at: email@example.com and let me know you want to give and receive a card!
For the subject of the email: Christmas Card Exchange
Once you email me with your info, I’ll email you back with my address. Let me know by December 13th! (…and for international cards outside of the US, please let me know by Dec 6th, so there’ll be enough time for my card to reach you in time for Christmas!)
Okay, I’m off to get a couple hours of sleep. I plan on waking up early to go shopping for some bargains!
It’s officially the holiday season!
