This New Year’s Eve, I spent my time at home with family. I think I felt way too tired from Christmas week to be out and about. I did, however, have fun sitting in front of the TV watching another year go by. I even managed to get a little scrap time in before the New Year.
As for New Year’s Day, I tried to go furniture shopping, but was very discontented about what everyone had to offer. So, instead of blowing money on furniture, we all headed to the coast to get some fresh air. Half Moon Bay was seriously the place to start off 2009. We had not visited in a while, so seeing our retreat was a pleasure for me. Maui had such a blast! She found other dogs to be hooligans with; she kicked sand all over the place, and I swear everyone who had a camera on this beach were shooting pictures of her like she was a celebrity. I guess it’s because she likes to pose for the camera, haha. Anyway, this place solidifies, my future. This is where I want it.
