To start off the year: Adventures and ROL stuff.

This New Year’s Eve, I spent my time at home with family. I think I felt way too tired from Christmas week to be out and about. I did, however, have fun sitting in front of the TV watching another year go by. I even managed to get a little scrap time  in before the New Year.

As for New Year’s Day, I tried to go furniture shopping, but was very discontented about what everyone had to offer. So, instead of blowing money on furniture, we all headed to the coast to get some fresh air. Half Moon Bay was seriously the place to start off 2009. We had not visited in a while, so seeing our retreat was a pleasure for me. Maui had such a blast! She found other dogs to be hooligans with; she kicked sand all over the place, and I swear everyone who had a camera on this beach were shooting pictures of her like she was a celebrity. I guess it’s because she likes to pose for the camera, haha. Anyway, this place solidifies, my future. This is where I want it.

Here are some pictures that I took yesterday:

This is OUR place.

This is our place.

No one elses but ours.

No one else's but ours.

Could it be?! She found Riley another Miniature Schnauzer?!

Lets run, Riley!

"Let's run, Riley, before the sun goes away!"

On to scrapping news, Butterfly Crafts posted their 3rd challenge. This month, Red Oak Lines, is their sponsor! Yay! Play along, and you could win some stuff from my shop! Here’s the challenge taken from their site:

“For our next challenge, we want you to look back at 2008 and create a lay-out about your favourite memory/memories of the year. What will you remember about 2008 when you think back in years to come?
This is my layout. Yes, it is a layout of Maui, haha! The journaling for the latest layout says, “When I look back at the year 2008, one of the first things that come to mind is the day we brought her home.”
Lastly, I plan on announcing the new DT for Red Oak Lines and sharing new items in my shop on Monday, January 5th. Please check back for all of the new announcements!
Happy Friday!
Sarah.

I love your newest LO. Maui is so adorable. Also, nice pictures at “your spot.” Are you going to book a date?

Anyways, yay it’s 2009 and I’m sick! I need some Emergen-C. Cheers, hope your 2009 is filled with sparkles, shiny things, and green.

Wow that place is so beautiful. I want to visit a place like that one day. Maui is so beautiful and so completely precious. She is really a special gift from our Lord. My partner and I wish we could have our ceremony in somewhere like that in our home state of South Dakota where our parents, cousins, horses, and friends live. One day God permitting!
