I took this week off to give myself some time to sit and enjoy life. I’ve been so busy up and about that I have not given myself to relax. It got so bad that I actually ended up in the emergency room/urgent care because I almost passed out. Apparently, my stress got the WORST of me, and it caused a clinically diagnosed panic attack. Ive always known that I’ve had an anxiety disorder, so I’m glad that I confirmed it this weekend. It’s easy for someone to just say “relax” or “calm down,” but for someone with my disorder, it’s not as easy as it sounds. Trust me. I’ve tried.
Hopefully, the time I take off this week will do me some good. It’ll also give me time to do the things that make me happy — shopping, scrapping, reading, sewing, blogging, etc! …and thank you to everyone who has been supportive of my condition. I really appreciate all of your kinds words; it keeps me smiling.
I already managed to crank out a mini album and a couple of layouts.
For the mini album, I used only black and white photos; I thought I would try something different. It’s an album about my excursion around the bay.
I also wanted to share the two latest layouts I’ve created. I took out the sewing machine, so I went sew/stitch happy.
This first layout is about my anxiety. It’s a layout written to myself as a reminder to stay relaxed.
The second layout is, of course, about the little furbaby. I’m worried about her because we found a lump on her right shoulder. It’s a hard mass, and it was definitely not there before. I have no idea what it is, but I’m hoping that it’s nothing big. We took her to the vet yesterday, and they did a biopsy on her. We won’t know the results until the end of this week. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed and trying not to worry about it.
Moreover, make sure to check out the Red Oak Lines Design Team. Find them in the previous post. They are a group of talented ladies, and we all are very excited to be creating with the items in my shop.
If anyone is looking for sponsors for their challenge blog sites, let me know. Or if interested in being featured on my blog, head on over to Red Oak Lines, purchase an item(s), create a layout/project, and then send it to email@example.com! I’d love to see what you come up with!
Trying to enjoy life,
