It’s finally Wednesday! …and to make things even better, it’s not raining anymore. It’s blue skies, and the sun decided to peek its head out today. Thank you to everyone for the kind words you’ve left me. I’m going through a rough time in life, and I really appreciate everyone’s support. It’s never fun to have that cloud hanging over your head without an occasional gust of wind to push them out of the way! So again, thank you for the comments!
On another note, I just wanted to share three more layouts that I finished.
I played along with the current Scrapping The Music challenge this week. I really loved what I did with the butterfly trail on this one; I used my Big Bite to create more dimension to the layout. I also really like this paper from Graphic 45. It’s so vintage!
I also finished a layout for Dreamgirls. Their latest challenge is “We (heart) American Crafts,” meaning you have to use at least 80% American Craft products. Since, I’ve got a BIG stash of their products, I figured that it would be a great way to use up some of my supplies. Mostly everything on this layout, minus the green border, the flourish/swirl, and the journaling strips, are American Crafts. I really liked the way this one turned out because it’s not very “Sarah”; it’s totally different from anything I’ve done.
Lastly, I cranked out a layout following the Scrapping Out Loud guidelines for this week – I did all three requirements: 1) used the sketch 2) used the word “discover” in my journaling 3) used 2 pieces of lace! I really love the way I coordinated the colors in this layout and the way the journaling wraps around the edges.
Again, thank you to my readers who leave me such kind and understanding words. Without all of you, I probably would have stopped blogging. It’s so inspirational to know that people follow my life and my creations.
Taking it one day at a time,
