The weather out in the bay has been incredibly weird. Most of last week, it was raining cats and dogs (not literally, of course). A couple of days ago it felt like we were in the middle of spring; it was so warm that we had a chance to run around at the park. Yesterday morning, there was an earthquake! I didn’t feel it, but I did hear Maui start crying and acting weird. Perhaps she felt it? …and a couple of hours ago, it just started to rain again! What the heck is going on?!
Anyway, it’s been a few days since I’ve posted anything, and there are a couple of things I wanted to share.
This past week has been extremely hard for me. For some reason, my anxiety got the best of me, and it kept me preoccupied. On a better note, everything has gotten much better with the help of people who care. My good friend, Jennie, came to spend time with me at the roughest of times; she even opted to cook me dinner. She made me my favorite Filipino soup, tinola, and cream cheese wontons. Boy, it was super delicious!
Gloria managed to get me out of the house to enjoy the sunshine (before it started to rain, of course). We ended up taking Maui to the dog park. Afterwards, we just ran around like hooligans in the field of grass.
I cleaned up my scrap area, so I had tons of room to make a bigger scrap mess of course! ::wink:: I finished a few layouts that I wanted to share.
Pink Sketches released another sketch! Make sure to check it out f0r s0me weekly inspiration. Also, remember there is still time to apply to become a design team member. Head on over to see how to apply. Here’s my interpretation of this week’s sketch:
I was inspired by The Design Experiment to create a layout about what brings me comfort. This is what I came up with:
…and here was a layout I completed just for fun. I really LOVE this one. I love the pink colors to this one. I love the journaling. I love the house. I just love this one in general, hehe.
Now, it’s off to watch this year’s Oscars. I love looking at how everyone is “glamoured up”. My favorite actress so far is Natalie Portman! I thought her dress was stunning.
Off to Oscar watch,
