I’ve been contacted by numerous people with a variety of questions — some of which I have emailed back and some that I still have to get to. I find it surprising that people actually have questions for me; it’s amazing that readers are interested enough to ask me about my life! Anyway, I decided to answer some of them via a post.
*What do you do with all your mini albums? How do you store them?
Mini albums really do take up some room if you have a good amount of them. Rather than having them sit around in my room collecting dust, I like to display some of them in a basket on my coffee table. When people come over, they have something to look at. Besides, it’s pretty amusing just to look at photos. I like to rotate the mini albums in the basket so that it’s not the same thing every time.
*What kind of dog do you have?
Maui is officially a Miniature Schnauzer. She’s white, so I think a lot of people get confused over her breed because it’s a rare color to see. I’ve heard that she is not recognized as an AKC dog, but others refute. Her dad is a white Miniature Schnauzer as well, and he is AKC registered. Maui has her AKC papers that indicate that she is a valid Miniature Schnauzer.
*Where do you live? (I’ve noticed you visit the beach frequently)
I live in the beautiful state of California. More specifically, I live in the “suburbs” of the San Francisco bay area, so there’s a variety of beaches to choose from — that is, if you drive about 30 minutes or so. Therefore, it’s not really that far from where we live. My favorite nearby beach to play at is anything in Half Moon Bay.
*Is your work published?
Yes, some of my stuff has been published. Some of it has been featured online, and others have been published in magazines.
*Can I still apply to be a guest designer for Red Oak Lines Shop?
Yes, the deadline to this is March 18th. To apply:
You will need to head on over to the ROL Shop, and purchase an item or two. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to give out items right now because we are starting out as a small business. During the month you are designated to work on the design team, your work will be posted on our blog with a photo and short bio along with any links. Also, your work will be displayed in our ROL gallery.
We need you to provide:
-ONE layout or project with any item in the shop, which can be found at redoaklines.etsy.com
-2 other layouts (new or old) to show off your work.
-List of links to blogs/galleries
-Let us know why you want to work with ROL.
If interested, please send all of the above to firstname.lastname@example.org
*How old are you?
I am currently 24. My birthday is coming up on March 18th, so remember to wish me a happy birthday. hehe. Just kidding!
*I read that you graduated from UC Davis. What major were you?
Yes, I did gradutate from the University of California, Davis. I have a double major in Sociology with an emphasis in Law and Society and Psychology, which I found both to be very interesting. Here are pictures to prove it, hehe!
*Where do you find the time to get all of your scrapping done?
The answer to this one is still UNKNOWN! To be completely honest, I really don’t know. hehe. Where do YOU get the time to scrap?!
*What are your religious beliefs?
I was raised as a Catholic and attended private school my whole life all the way up until college. Am I a good practicing Catholic? I try to be, but then again, what human is perfect? Besides, what does the word “good” mean? I don’t think anyone can define what “good Catholic” means, or “good Christian” for that matter. Heck, “good (insert religion here)”! No one has the ability to judge others, so I think people should live about their lives loving EVERYONE. Therefore, if someone disapproves and judges me for the way I live my life or for what I believe, I ignore their ignorance.
Those are just some of the questions, I have been flooded with. I enjoyed answering them, so here’s a fun RAK for everyone! For this one, leave a comment to this post asking me a question you’d like to be answered. I’ll do my best to answer the most amusing ones. You have until March 5th, Thursday to play!
Here are some recent layouts:
Again, I turned to Scrapping Out Loud this week for some inspiration. I did all three challenges for this week – 1)tearing 2)sketch of the week 3)word of the week.
My second layout was done for fun because I love the latest from My Mind’s Eye.
Don’t forget to leave a comment with a question for me to be eligible for the RAK.
