Last night, I could not fall asleep. Yes, I tried counting sheep, but at around 2:30 in the morning, I was still wide awake. I figure I’d write a post to keep me from feeling like an insomniac, but I was having major writer’s block. I was as if my fingers came to a standstill on the keys.
Anyway, Friday was a WONDERFUL day. The weather was nice, and it really started to feel like spring. Gloria thought it would be fun to enjoy the warm weather, and we did just that.
I thought it would be fun if went out to grab some lunch and then do some SHOPPING! …and that’s basically what we did. We didn’t stay out too long because we both had to go home and work.
Saturday’s plans were TIRING. I started my day off by hitting up the post office; I am there so often that the post office workers know me, haha! Isn’t that sad and slightly pathetic that I have befriended the people at the post office?! 😉 Anyway, if you are a winner of a recent Kiki Art giveaway, make sure to look for that in the mail because it’s headed your way.
Later during the day, we decided to drive up to the city to get some photos from Twin Peaks. None of us had driven up there before, even though we’ve been to the city a million times. Scott, my brother, had even lived there for a couple of years, and he still had never been up to Twin Peaks. …so yup, off to check out the view of San Francisco.
The view was incredible. Check out some of the photos I took from up top:
If you are ever in the area, you should definitely drive up to Twin Peaks. It’s a great view of the city of San Francisco.
As for creativity this weekend, I didn’t really get much done. Last week, however, I finished a couple of projects.
…and here’s my take on the sketch:
If you want to see some of the inner pages to this mini, head here for more photos of this project.
Okay, I’ll stop rambling now. See you all soon! 😉
