my reflections event recap

I’ve had a ton of fun and crazy weekends in my life. As a matter of fact, my list could probably go on for days. This past weekend definitely makes that list.

Early (early, early) Friday morning, we headed down to Southern California to meet up with Suzy, Daniela, and Shelly in Newport Beach. Once we all met up, we decided to head back up to Downtown Los Angeles to check out the Fashion District. If you haven’t been here, you should check it out! My eyes lit up with all of the fabric, trims, and buttons!

Suzy and Shelly enjoying the Punky Sprouts colors!

There was an ENDLESS amount of fabric to choose from!

This is a scrapbooker's heaven. πŸ™‚

Buttons, bling, and trims galore. ...and I thought my scrap room was excessive.

Surprisingly, I didn’t go that crazy. I only bought a handful of trims to use, but I should have bought a dress form that I saw. After our quick trip to the garment district, we headed back to Newport Beach. Of course, the traffic was horrendous , but we managed to make it back in time to set up for Reflections.

Here's Daniela at The Art Life table. I LOVE her stuff!

Here are the crazies flashing their Art Life bling. πŸ™‚

Suzy and I teaching the Punky Sprouts make and take. Amy took my camera and shot this photo.

Towards the end of the night, I went around visiting with the other creative gals working at their tables. We were all pretty tired, but we had a GREAT time!

Shelly from Punky Sprouts is such a sweetheart!

Fellow Imaginisce DT gal, Erin Bassett!

I went to chat with the creative and crafty Liz Kartchner working at her table.

Kelly Purkey took this cute picture of me and Amy Tangerine!

After an exhausting, yet amazingly FUN and CREATIVE night running make and takes, we headed out. All and all, I was so happy and humbled to have been invited to Reflections. I had never been to this event before, so I didn’t know what to expect. It is all that it is made to be.

Lastly, thanks so much to all of you who wished me a wonderful National Scrapbook Day. I appreciate it because this has to be the 2nd best day of the year next to my birthday, haha! πŸ™‚ …so, I’m curious to know how all of you spent Scrapbook Day! Did you scrapbook?! Or did you pick up anything cool to add to your stash?! I want to hear all of your stories!

In the mean time, I’m off to relax and enjoy the warm weather. See you all soon!
