C-U-T-T-I-N-G. First comes glue. Then comes pictures. Then comes embellies in a variety of mixtures.
That’s not all… that’s not all…
I wanted to share that my friend, Nana, invited me to be a part of her brand new kit club called, My Paper Treehouse. I was humbled when she asked me if I would design for her. I haven’t been a designer for a kit club in a while, so I thought it would be fun to give it a creative whirl.
Anyway, I wanted to share the scrapping lineup:
Sarah de Guzman **THAT’S MOI**
The first kit release will be for the month of June, so stay tuned. I can’t wait to start creating and sharing my work with everyone! I will make sure to share all of the details as the time draws near.
Lastly, there’s a contest going on in celebration of the new kit club. Guess what’s in the kit, and you could win! Click here to guess.
Completely aside from the kit club announcement, I wanted to share a couple of layouts that I created just for fun.
I like the emotional projection I tried to convey on this layout. Everything that I put down on this page had a meaning. I love layouts that represent who I am , and that is why I created this one:
The picture is not a great depiction of my layout because some of my journaling (a list of things I love) was cropped out. The glittered chipboard hearts are from Kiki Art, and a good amount of those small cut out images are from various Imaginisce lines.
For my second layout, I finally busted out my Jillibean Soup stash that I won from their sketch challenge not too long ago.
Wanna know the story behind this layout?! Well, I went to walk the floor at ScrapFest last month, and I took a slight “detour” to visit with my friend, Kimber. She’s such a sweetheart, and she does amazing work. Anyway, isn’t it fitting that I used Jillibean Soup on this one, hehe! 🙂
You’ll never believe it when I tell you, but I did NOT end up going to see the dentist yesterday. There was a slight complication with paper work, so I dodged the bullet this time around! I plan on calling today to reschedule, so don’t think that I wiggled my way out of a dentist appointment. 😉
