Mothers always know how to make everything all better. At least I know that my mom does, and I’m so incredibly thankful for that. Originally, my mom and I were both bummed that I wasn’t headed out to see her on her weekend. However, plans changed last minute, and we ended up driving to visit.
The smile on her face when we surprised her was priceless.
That, in my opinion, is the best gift we could have given her this year – our presence. 🙂
Mom, if you are reading this… I LOVE that you still want to do my laundry when I visit you. I LOVE that you wear that visor of yours. I LOVE that you still tell me to be safe when I travel. I LOVE that you want to cook for me when I visit. I LOVE you for always giving me the best advice. I LOVE you for everything that you are. Happy Mother’s Day to you, my biggest inspiration.
To the rest of you mothers out there (moms, grandmas, caregivers, furbaby mommas, aunts, fathers that take on the mother’s role, etc.), have a wonderful and joyous weekend. You definitely deserve it.
Most of you might already know this, but I was in a car accident on Thursday. It just threw my whole day off, but I’m doing much better. I’m fine, so no worries. Thank you for all of your concerns and well wishes.
I finally finished this mini album that I started last month, haha! It was one of those albums that kept taunting me, but I never got around to it. After a month of procrastination, I finished my Kiki Art mini album.
To bind this mini album together, I used a single black owire from Zutter. As a matter of fact, I think it works better than a binder ring. …and that glittery look is achieved by using Modge Podge Sparkle! Ever since I tried it out at CHA, I’ve become a big fan. If you haven’t played with it yet, you should pick up a bottle and give it a go.
Two more of my layouts have been picked up for publication! I can’t wait to share it all with you when it’s for sale.
Lastly, I have been contacted a couple of times by some international readers. They suggested that I add a translator to my blog, and I can’t ignore their requests. I’m sorry that I had not done that earlier! To read my posts in YOUR language, it’s on the top left sidebar. Hope that helps.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
