my creative exhausation.

Yesterday, I worked on projects from 6 am until 6 pm. I know you are all thinking, “What in the world?!” On top of trying to finish DT projects, I needed to work on a custom order and a handful of other projects. Don’t get me wrong here – – I absolutely LOVE to create, but even sometimes, people like me need to take a break from the creative world. 😉 ((Don’t worry, it’ll be a short break!))

With that in mind, I wanted to show you a couple of projects that have been keeping me busy.

Core’dinations and Imaginisce teamed up and swapped products, so all of the Imaginisce girls were sent stacks of cardstock to play with. Now, I think I have enough to last me a couple of years or so. Thank you, Core’dinations for being so generous!

Below is a layout I created using the latest Imaginisce line, Splash Dance, and cardstock from Core’dinations.

Make sure to check back for more projects using these two awesome manufacturers!

Oh, and see all of the colorful bling?! I used the new i-rock for that. If you are a bling fan, you are going to LOVE this new tool by Imaginisce.

I also worked on a layout for the Kiki Art sketch challenge! This time it’s a card sketch, but I created a layout instead. Here’s the card sketch:

…and here’s my layout using the above sketch as my source of inspiration:

I find that this is not the typical “Sarah” design. I usually try to scrap clean lines, but this layout looks more scattered. I don’t think it’s a bad thing or anything. It’s just an observation. What do you think? Ooops, I digressed from what I originally wanted to say, hehe. Create a project based on the above card sketch, and you could win. 🙂 Need more inspiration?! Head on over here to see what the fabulous DT created!

Lastly, I wanted to share a project I designed for a class I am teaching. This mini album uses the cute Dear Lizzy line by American Crafts, and of course, I used the bind-it-all to hold it all together!

To see more information on this class and some of my other future classes, click here.

There are more projects to share, but I’ll leave everyone with that for now.

Now, I’m off to take a quick creative break with a day of SHOPPING! 😉

PS: I’m so lucky to have you. You brighten each and every one of my days. “Soon” is my our decision. 🙂
