determine your mood.

I was told that the more positive words and phrases you use, the better you feel. I had to try it out in a blog post. As you read this post, take notes of your mood changes.

I feel alive every time I sit and create a project. Whether I choose to create an assigned project or one out of the blue, I feel inspired. Today, I completed a handful of new stuff to share!

The current sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays sparked my interest. On top of being innovative, it’s a fairly easy one to work with. Here’s what it looks like:

When I first saw this sketch, I was eager to use, so I decided to use it on a store sample for Memories Live On. I modified it slightly, but I still think it came together quite nicely.

Don’t you just love how I used shabby-colored paper to create a layout about how I enjoyed eating my delicious sandwich?! At first I thought, “How odd of me!” Now when I look at this layout displayed in my LSS, I think it’s pretty ingenious. 😉

I created another layout using the super cute Splash Dance line by Imaginisce. Again, I used Core’dinations as my choice of cardstock; I’m absolutely a fan.

Doesn’t the square made of bling look stunning?! I used the new i-rock tool and i-rock template for it! If you have not tried this tool, I would totally recommend giving it a try. You’ll love it. Let’s just say that I have been using my i-rock all day. 🙂

Lastly, I thought I would share a couple of fun quick links today.

  • Kiki Art wants to know what your favorite animal is. Share it with us here for your chance to win some free product!
  • Did I ever tell you that I was invited to design for the kit club called The Sampler for my LSS?! If not, check out the announcement here!
  • Imaginisce wants you to check out the Splash Dance idea gallery for a chance to win some marvelous stuff.

…so what do you think? Feeling a little bit more positive after reading this entry?! I would surely hope so.

Happy Tuesday! …and don’t forget, there’s going to be some major giveaways going on very soon. Stay tuned!

PS: How is it possible that I found a gem stuck to Hilo’s head? Oh, that’s right… he likes to scrapbook with his Momma. 😉

super inspiring words – I try to stay positive all the time (LOL) by reminding myself of possibility – as in this Emily Dickinson poem
    I dwell in Possibility –
A fairer House than Prose –
    More numerous of Windows –
    Superior – for Doors –

Of Chambers as the Cedars –
    Impregnable of eye –
    And for an everlasting Roof
The Gambrels of the Sky –

Of Visitors – the fairest –
    For Occupation – This –
The spreading wide my narrow Hands
    To gather Paradise –

Hope you have a super day!

  24. I love how you combine colors and patterns. Such a great talent! Your comments on positive comments and they reminded me of a book that I’m currently enjoying: The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. You might enjoy it too…

with you (not that I personally will need to…HaHa). You definitely put a fresh spin on a subject which has been discussed for a long time.

    Excellent stuff, just great!
