turn it up.

Turn what up?! The mojo! How?! Use a couple of sketches, of course!

…and that’s exactly what I did.

My first layout was inspired by a sketch that my friend, Michelle, from Creative Imaginations created.

When I first saw this sketch, I knew that I had to use it. The unique design and all of the details that Michelle put into this one makes it a must-use sketch! Here’s what I came up with using some CI products:

The chipboard letters are from an older collection from CI. Originally, they had patterned print on it, but I inked each letter with the color Jet Black by Staz On to get it to match my page.

…and instead of adhering my butterflies down, I stitched them to my page. Not only does it add texture, but it also makes sure that the butterflies don’t fall off my layout. 🙂

The next layout was inspired by the current sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays. I saw that it was a double-paged layout, so I could not resist!

I’m trying to clear out my scrap space, so I used some of my older stash. It really doesn’t matter how old the paper is — if it’s cute, I’m going to use it. 😉

I have a couple more layouts that I finished up at the crop yesterday! Can you believe that I actually got stuff done at a crop?! …but I’m going to save those for later. 😉

I also wanted to thank everyone for stopping by my blog for my Imaginisce giveaway. If you haven’t already entered your name into the drawing, click here to read how to play.

Oh, and head’s up because there will be more than one giveaway on Tuesday for a special announcement. 😉
