I love Fridays, and I love weekends! …but before I talk about the weekend, I wanted to recap some memories from the week, food poisoning and all.
Earlier this week, we thought it would be fun to visit Rebekah, Gloria’s sister. Maui and Hilo love driving over to Auntie Rebekah’s house. Cousins, Mina and Milo, have fun toys to play with.
Too cute! These pups always know how to put a smile on my face. Hopefully, they put a smile on your face too.
On top of all of the fun toys, Auntie Rebekah also has pool in the backyard! Maui and Hilo are still learning how to swim, but with the help of a life vest, they are getting better at it.
…so I don’t know what’s cuter — the dogs playing in the house or swimming in the pool?!
On Wednesday, we met up with Sean and his girlfriend, Ashley, in the city. We decided to eat at Frjtz, which is known for their specialty fries and dips. I love their fries and crepes, so I have no idea why I ordered a burger. ((I don’t really eat meat, unless it’s chicken.))
It turns out that the burger didn’t sit too well in my system, and now I’m suffering from food poisoning. 😦 Sean ordered a burger too, and he’s not sick! It must be because I’m not used to eating beef. Bwech! Just thinking about it makes me feel sick. 😦
After the nasty burger, I needed to clean my palette with something sweet. We went to the amazing Bi-Rite Creamery. Do you want delicious?! You have to try this place out.
I’m still recovering from the food poisoning. Argh! However, in the meantime, here’s a couple of sneak peeks of an altered project I created for my local scrapbook store:
Oh, and before I forget, there’s a winner to the Punky Sprouts book! The lucky winner to this giveaway is…
Congrats! You are totally going to love your Punky Sprouts book. Please claim your prize by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org!
I also wanted to pass on some information. There’s a sneak peek to some new Zutter products being released this summer at CHA. It can be found over at the Bind-It-All blog. Head on over here for your chance to win some Hang-it-Alls.
“What’s that?” you ask.
Check out the below project I created using Hang-it-Alls and some pretty Urban Swank paper. I don’t remember if I shared this one already, so if I did, here it is again, hehe. 😉
What do you think?! If you like it, it’s for sale for only $15. All proceeds go to my AIDS Walk fundraising goal. Email me at email@example.com if you are interested or if you have any questions. Think of it as being ART from moi. 🙂
Oh, and don’t forget that you only have a couple more days to enter the current challenge over at TAAFOMFT. Check it out here. There are sooooo many prizes to be given away in honor of our publication in ScrapStreet this month, so make sure to join us!
Now, I’m off to drink more fluids. This food poisoning is totally kicking my butt!
PS: Go, Brazil! 🙂
