majorly inspired.

I was at the shop, and I had such an urge to create something, anything. …so I brought out all of my essential tools, and I got to it. Can you believe that I finished two layouts today?! πŸ˜‰

I was super excited that I got to create with new Simple Stories. It was so much fun to work with. Here’s a layout that I created about 5 Reasons Why we all like Natalie as Sean’s girlfriend.

The 4×6 clear overlay that came with this collection was perfect to create a list of adjectives that describe Natalie. ((Hope you like the project, Nano.))

…and while I was at it, I created one for my newest friend, Emily. I had such a blast scrappin’ her precious, baby girl.

Isn’t she adorable?! I love these photos of her, and they work so perfectly with these Pebbles, Inc. papers and embellishments. ((Thanks for letting me use these photos, Emily. Hope you like this layout!))

As I was typing this blog post, I was simultaneously enjoying movie night. We watched the movie Soul Surfer, based on the true story of Bethany Hamilton. If you haven’t heard of her story, you should read up on it. It truly is inspirational.

I have seen a handful of surf competitions in real life, and as a matter of fact, I have seen some of the pro surfers that were portrayed in that movie. …and the waves that those pro surfers ride are crazy huge! The fact that Bethany got back on her board within a month of the shark incident is unbelievable. I’d be terrified to get back into the water. Heck, for me, paddling out on a board even with two arms is all ready terrifying!

I admire her positive spirit and the faith that she has in God. Thanks, Bethany, for your inspiration.

Well said.
