mindfulness.

It’s been such a long time since I feel like I’ve posted for myself. Today, I decided that I was going to share my thoughts. What does it mean to be mindful?

mind·ful/ˈmīndfəl/ Adjective: Conscious or aware of.

For some time now, I haven’t been very mindful of my own personal state and well being. I think that sometimes with the hustle and bustle of everyday life we forget to take time for ourselves. Recently, I have been trying to become more aware of my mindfulness, that being my present moment. With that said, I don’t want to be in the past or the future. I want to focus on the here and now.

Thus far, it’s been a journey. Have you ever thought about your own mindfulness? If you couldn’t think about the past or the future, but you could only think about the now, what would be your thought in that very instance? How would you assess your physical, mental, emotional, and/or spiritual self? That very thought makes you alive.

Think about that; it’ll take you on a journey.

Your message says to me: Live for the now and not the yesterday or tomorrow. Bless you in your mindfulness journey. I’m glad to have found your store by accident, what a find, and am grateful to have learned from your creative side.

  5. I love this post! Great message. I’ve been practicing a lot of mindfulness this week with the big exam coming up… it’s important to stay in the now, keeps me from being overwhelmed.

And Gloria’s present thought sounds delicious.

Thanks for the post Sarah! Mindfulness is my goal for this week. I have been too stressed worrying about the future and second-guessing the past.
