i statements.

As most of you know, I’m still contemplating working on Project Life. Thus, I wanted to read more about the ideas behind it via Becky Higgins. Here’s what I found on her blog:

Fill in the blanks. Finish the sentences. Get these little snippets into your journal or scrapbook or somewhere. There are no right or wrong answers. Just follow the lead from each prompt and complete each sentence authentically. Be you. And then – pass along the challenge.

Well, I gave the challenge a shot. Here’s what I came up with:

Aside from the journal prompting, my friend, Mary, taught me the basics to Copic markers this past weekend. I can see why it’s fun and addicting. Instead of using it to color in a stamped image, I played with their multiliner pens. I had fun creating my own title embellishment for one of my latest pages.

Speaking of markers, I’ve been playing with my very own set of Tim Holtz distress markers. They do such amazing things, and can’t wait to use them again. Is it bad that I’ve been stamping more?!

Now, it’s time for me to get out and enjoy some fresh air.
