habit forming.

It seems that there’s a habit forming – Friday has become my day to post. Honestly, I wish I could post at least twice a week, but time has not allowed me to do so.

Last weekend, we threw a  Chinese New Year dinner party with our family and close friends.

It was a lot of fun to share culture with some of our closest friends, but it was even better with all of the yummy food we devoured. We went hot pot happy. Mmm, mmm! Just thinking about it makes me drool, hehe. 😉 We then, of course, played Cards Against Humanity, late into the night.

The morning after our CNY dinner party, we went kayaking over in Moss Landing. It felt great to be kayaking again; I really missed the workout and thrill you get from it. Besides, when you’re spotting out all of the sea life around you (an abundance of sea otters and sea lions), it doesn’t feel like you’re working out at all.

Hopefully, we’ll be able to visit again soon. I’m hoping that with nice weather around the corner, it’ll make a great weekend excursion.

Last but not least, make sure to head on over to the Sampler blog for a post written by moi. Here’s a sneak peek of the layout I’m sharing:

I’m looking forward to this long weekend. What about you?

Happy Friday, everyone!
