I’m surprised that whole title even fit on that line, but that’s besides the point. I’ve been swamped like you wouldn’t believe… or maybe you believe me, haha!
…so today is The Sampler blog hop.
…and guess what?! My project today is based on the December kit, which is filled with goodies galore. Yes, it’s filled with some fun holiday stuff, but it also works for other projects. Here’s the sketch that Holly created:
…and here’s my take using the December kit:
Wanna know my favorite part about this kit?! It’s get TWO sets of letters. Not one, but TWO! Now that’s a rockin’ kit.
Okay, so I think you are at the end of the blog hop… but make sure to head on over to The Sampler blog because there are some awesome prizes going to be given away to FIFTEEN winners (three of which will be from my blog).
Leave a comment to this blog telling me what you plan on eating on Thanksgiving, and we’ll pick three winners as soon as possible!
I have more fun news for everyone. Stephanie from Bella Blvd was so sweet to pick me as a guest designer for Bella! I absolutely LOVE their stuff, so getting the chance to design with their products was tons of fun. If you want to see what kind of cute stuff I came up with, head on over to the Bella blog. In the meantime, here’s one of the layouts that I created for Bella:
Pretty, pretty stuff… both to my face and to the Bella stuff, haha! 😉
As for Our Paper Place, it’s going GREAT! I’ve had some smiling faces stop by the store to peek in, and it’s been fun chatting with all of you. Seriously, the response has been UH-MAZING!
Today, I ran out of flyers again. They are literally “fly”in’ out of the bin at the front of the store. I plan on bringing more today, so if you happen to be in the area and want to check out the latest classes and events going on over at Our Paper Place, swing by this weekend to pick up your flyer. 😉 If you find something you’re interested in, don’t hesitate to call or email with questions!
Here are some random pictures around the place:
Hope all is well with everyone! When life becomes more “normal”, I’ve got my fingers crossed I can post more regularly.
PS: I’ve got less than a week to get everything in order! YIPES!!! Wish me luck because I’m gonna need it. …and who’s gonna stop by the store on Black Friday?! Hopefully, I’ll be able to see some of your pretty faces!
I have not been this busy since I was in college trying to study for five different finals in the same week. …so if I’m not posting entries all the time, there’s a good reason for it. Trust me… I’ve been getting down and dirty. 😉
On another note, I thought I would share some of my latest creations.
Have you seen The Sampler‘s October kit?! It’s loaded with vibrant colors and tons of fun products to use. Here are a couple of layouts that I created with this month’s kit:
I especially love the Doggles layout just for those adorable pictures of Hilo. Every time I see these photos, I can’t help but smile. My dogs totally melt my heart. 🙂
…and here’s one of my very own sketches that I used to create the above layout:
Check out the post and all the details on that contest here.
PS: Thanks to all those who left me encouraging words about my challenge. I really appreciate all of the support. 😉 I will definitely keep all of you posted on the continuous progress.
In case you haven’t visited the Imaginisce blog recently, today was my day to post! Here’s a preview to one of my layouts that I shared over there:
For the rest of my projects, you’ll just have to take a gander over here. …and just so you know, we’re giving away darling Dino Roar products, so you are not going to want miss out on that opportunity. Trust me, this latest collection is dino-mite! 😉
On another note, I posted over at The Sampler blog earlier this week. …and can you believe it – I didn’t share a layout this time, hehe! Here’s an altered project that I created using the gorgeous September kit:
It’s a business card holder! …or a note holder! …or a picture holder! Okay, I could go on and on, but I won’t. It was an easy project to create, and all of the supplies come in the September kit. Fabulous, right?!
As for my plans for today, I’m off to do a complete house makeover! On top of all the cleaning, I was going to head into our storage to pull out all of the autumn/Halloween decorations. I have to finish all of this by Friday because we’ve got guests coming to stay with us. Ack!
Wish me luck!
most of you know, I design for a couple of kit clubs. It’s nice to have everything already coordinated for you – cardstock, patterned paper, embellishments, etc. On top of that, the price that you pay for the amount of products you get are a steal. …and that’s no joke either!
Today, I wanted to share some layouts that I created for the kit clubs I design for.
I’m not sure if I shared this one already. If so, here it is again. This layout uses The Sampler‘s September kit.
I love the flowers on this one. They’re sporadically placed, but I think they add so much character to my overall page. Sometimes, throwing stuff down onto your layout without thinking about it makes for a really neat design. 😉
Here’s another one using the September kit from The Sampler:
When in doubt, use flowers. Seriously, it’s such a simple embellishment that makes any project look good, hehe.
The layout below was created with My Paper Tree House‘s July kit.
To see details about this layout, head on over to the MPTH blog because it was my day to post. 😉
In regards to my post yesterday, thank you for all of the encouraging comments. I plan to keep up with my challenge, so hopefully, I’ll see more progress this week.
